SendVia is a digital platform that allows people who live abroad to send care products to their loved ones back home, including medical and disaster insurance as well as gift cards. They provide a new way for diaspora communities to care for their families, when sending money through remittances is typically the norm. As a new company doing things in a new way, SendVia needed a visual identity that showcases their innovative concept while building trust with customers.

Built for Senders—those who send money, boxes, airtime and more—SendVia’s products enable them to care for their families in a more meaningful way. With SendVia, Senders can proactively protect their loved ones from health issues and natural disasters, and even participate in important milestones, such as the birth of new family members. Through Sendvia, Senders can better connect with their loved ones, build financially resilient families—and send care even when they can’t be there.

Solution

Centered on the idea of enabling Senders to connect with their family across borders, we created a logo mark that integrates a heart as a symbol of a warm embrace, a location mark to represent home and a check mark to show security. The logo is paired with a bright color palette and warm, candid photography of diaspora families that reflects the cultures of the locations SendVia works in. The location mark in the logo is also used as a framing device to convey the idea of home throughout the brand. With this new visual identity, SendVia shares how they give Senders the peace of mind that their family is loved and protected, no matter how far away they may be.
